PALM SPRINGS, Calif., Dec. 18, 2024 /PRNewswire/ — Inland Respite Inc. celebrated its 25th anniversary on December 14, 2024, with an unforgettable dinner and gala at the Palm Springs Air Museum. Over 350 guests gathered to commemorate a quarter-century of exceptional service to the families and individuals who rely on their respite care services.

The event brought together Inland Respite’s client families, respite care providers, community partners, and dedicated staff, including the organization’s founders, Catalina Santillan “Katy” and her husband Paul Santillan Sr as well as Inland Respite Inc. President, Paul M. Santillan and Alexandria Cano-Santillan, COO. Hardy Parungao, CEO was also present to recognize and honor administrative staff members, ambassador families, and respite care providers for their exceptional contributions. Guests were treated to a wonderful dinner, awards, a wonderland theme photo experience, and engaging activities for the entire family, all while dancing the night away!

“Our mission has always been clear: to provide compassionate respite services that have a profound impact on the Intellectual and Developmentally Disabled (IID) community. For the past 25 years, we have strived to uphold this mission, and we look forward to continuing to serve with dedication and care for many more years to come,” shared Paul M. Santillan, the President of Inland Respite Inc.

As its way of giving back to the community it serves, Inland Respite, Inc. has chosen the Autism Society Group of Inland Empire as a recipient of $25,000 cash donation for Inland Respite’s 25th anniversary. Paul M. Santillan added,” Autism is the leading disability among those we serve, and it requires additional support and resources for those with autism and for their families. Without groups like the Autism Society, many would experience a disconnect to resources to help manage their lives with autism.”

The 25th anniversary gala highlighted Inland Respite’s continued dedication to offering the gift of time to families, ensuring they receive the support and relief they need. The event was a testament to the lasting relationships and positive impact the organization has had on its clients and the broader community.
